Australian Parkour Association (APA)

The APA organizes classes in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane and provide national standards for Parkour Instructors in Australia. There are a number of resources on their page including the Forums and the Parkourpedia.

Melbourne Classes 

APA classes offered in Melbourne cover the fundamentals of Parkour and strength and condition in a safe and friendly environment. The classes are run by male and female instructors and are great introduction to Parkour. There are girls who train regularly at the Sydney and Melbourne classes. Rain City Girls Blog

Tiara is living in Vancouver and is looking for other girls who want to train and practice together. Colombia

PKGirlz is is a group to exchange, share and to tell traceuses' experiences and a project of the FamiliaAire organization, the concept of it, is to work in cause of the women's physical education about parkour and free running. The traceuses are young women of many ages, basing their training and philosophy in parkour and local groups as Legion Del Mandril, Monkey's School and Familiare.

Parkour Generations:

This is the website for parkour generations, a London-based team formed of some of the original french practioners, the leading uk instructors and some of the new generation. They aim to maintain the true spirit of parkour and teach the correct way to those who wish to learn. The site contains details of all the team members, including Tracey who organises girls jams and classes in London, and members Agota and Annty. There is lots of information about the teams work with communities and schools in and around London as well as some great videos and articles about a variety of issues relating to parkour including concepts, training and nutrition.

The women's sessions have a 4-strong team of male and female dedicated coaches, weekly classes, numerous London locations and a female specific class format. Classes will be open to all levels of ability and experience, but particular emphasis will be towards newcomers to the discipline and the transitition to outdoor Parkour for those already practising. ADD (Art Du'Deplacement/ Art of Movement) Academy  www.add-academy.com is a comprehensive educational program designed and developed by Majestic Force headed by Yann Hnautra, Châu Belle and Laurent Piemontesi (Yamakasi founders) in association with Bruno Girard. ADD Academy offers classes during the week and also Discovery and Introductory Courses and Technical Development Courses in Paris.

Urban Runner

Located in Mexico City, Urban Runners was one of the first parkour teams in Mexico and currently run classes, workshops and organize events for parkour difussion (both male and female). MonosUrbanos:

Stockholm Academy

Therese and several other women have organized girl's jams to inspire other girls to try parkour. The first girls' jam is  on May 22nd 2010 on a Saturday. There are also regular classes and parkour jams at the Stockholm Academy.

Bay Area Parkour Women's Jams

Jodie is now organizing monthly Women's Jams in San Francisco! This training provides a healthy atmosphere for new female practitioners to start parkour, and for everyone to advance in a safe way. Safety is paramount, so a positive example is set by the more experienced practitioners. We will warm up, stretch, and slowly progress, and have fun while keeping a beginner mentality.

Apex Movement, Colorado
APEX Movement is Colorado's first and largest Parkour, Freerunning, and CrossFit gym. Located in downtown Denver, with satellite programs in Boulder and Colorado Springs, we offer professional training centered around natural, functional movement.

The Women's Parkour Workshop is led by the most experienced women in Colorado Parkour, this workshop is for women only and will focus on skill development and providing a positive, supportive environment and network for more women to get involved in parkour and freerunning. Adaptive Movement Parkour, Connecticut

 At the Modern Self Defense Center, AMParkour has put so much effort into creating a program tailored to the needs of the monkeys lying dormant in all of us.  The training conducted in our program is focused on safe, creative repetition of fundamental movement in order to acclimate the Traceur's body to the stress experienced during Parkour training "in the real world."  We hope you'll come down and try out one of our seminars, or even start in our weekly classes!

Primal Fitness  hosts a recurring parkour seminar for women on the third Sunday of every month! This 2 hour seminar will introduce women to the basic concepts and movements of Parkour. Julie Angel:

This is the website for legendary filmaker Julie Angel! As well as being a parkour practitioner herself, Julie has made some of the best parkour videos and documentaries worldwide as well as a host of other successful film projects. These include the first all girl action edit 'Gogirls' part of yahoo's Global city beats production. The video features some of the ladies from the parkour generations academy flowing across London and has recieved over 1 million views on youtube to date. The film like all Julies projects has recieved high levels of praise as she continues to document this growing discipline in an accurate and creative manner.

If you are looking for inspiration for training, then this is your mecca. the blog of uk traceur Chris 'Blane' Rowat is an outstanding tribute to the dedication and work ethic of this outstanding practitioner. Full details of his training as well as a commentary on his mental processes can be followed here. A highly recommended read for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.

      Hollie :

Hollie is a traceuse who has been blogging her parkour journey since 2006. Although she may sound like a normal everyday girl with things like birthdays and exams, lies a dedication and discipline that has taken her far.
